Abstract: In order to improve Web application system quality and developing efficiency, the impact productivity of common module is analyzed and a platform to assist developing Web application system is designed. Based on modular design and rapid prototyping method, the Web application system development platform is able to enhance the processing of system development documentation and provide some utilitarian functions including documentation management, component library, dynamical compilation, versioning, etc. The studies suggest that the platform can shorten the developing cycle of common module and characterizes the whole processing management of Web application system development life cycle, largegrained building, modularization and rapid generating prototype system.
